KateHaus, started as Alpine Moon Photography by Katharine Hauschka in 2005, is a destination photography service based out of Washington DC, with Colorado and Massachusetts ties. I specialize in weddings, portraiture, events, nature and travel photography. I also work with photography in food, sports, modeling, fashion, architecture, archiving, multimedia slideshows and retouching. I'm a graduate of Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging and I have my work published in various books, magazines and educational displays.
After my wedding at the National Cathedral (Coming soon) I jumped right on over to the American Red Cross Fire and Ice Ball. They asked for me to come and photograph people having fun, and the diamond search where there was a full table of champagne glasses one of which had two little diamonds sitting in the bottom. The woman who won is pictured below in the red dress on the right. I had a great time photographing the tail end of the event (as usual) and was happy I could help a good cause!
