A Manhattan Bat Mitzvah

The fabulous New York family brought me and an assistant up to the big apple for the weekend to capture their daughter’s absolutely awesome Bat Mitzvah! What a weekend it was! A huge celebration with great friends and family! The party was held at the Harmony Club on the upper east side and man it was a lot of fun! We started the evening with some family portraits in the Library. This was followed by the cocktail party where there were all sorts of goodies for the guests to enjoy. Then there was, of course, the glorious Hora- which I can only imagine is just as horrifying to watch as it is to be up there on that chair!

The evening then continued with a sit down dinner and a lot of dancing. They even brought in a high energy dance crew that kept the party going and the kids moving! One of the highlights of the evening for me was definitely the chocolate fondue fountain…yum…and of course capturing all the awesomenes on the dance floor!!!

On this hot humid and gorgeous Saturday, we celebrated Zach’s Bar Mitzvah. It was a wonderful day and a gorgeous event with tons of family and friends around to enjoy the festivities!

Saturday was a gorgeous day for Ben’s Bar Mitzvah! The sun was shining, the spirits were high and the guests were all about celebrating! We rocked out on the dance floor for hours with short moments of pause to grab freshly spun cotton candy, drip hot fudge on unique ice cream sundaes, count jelly beans and release balloons….

What a way to celebrate your Bar Mitzvah! Oliver, or ‘Revilo’ celebrated with family and friends all night playing in his own casino. Games varied from slots to horse racing, there was a magician and many card games. The kids and adults all had a blast and I think you can conclude that from the sneak peek photos here!

So every other event and bat mitzvah and bar mitzvah was cancelled this day due to the blizzard that hit the city of DC, but not this one. Despite the weather, lots of friends and family trekked through 2 feet of snow to get to Jack’s Bar Mitzvah and boy, did we had a blast! Have a look, you’ll wish you were there rather than cooped up at home that cold winter night!
