What a beautiful Sunday morning jazz brunch wedding! With a little help from some coffee and the great make up and hair artists they had they it wasn’t too hard for Tami & Maria to hop into wedding mode early Sunday morning over in Alexandria. After a bit of preparation, we all jumped in the bus and were carted downtown to the National Press Club, just a few blocks away from the white house. There the girls slipped into their dresses, signed the ketubah and the ceremony commenced with truly fabulous vows in a room filled with love and great friendship. Shortly after the ceremony, we took some fun photos before the jazz buffet brunch began. Needless to say it was a lovely morning filled with happiness, celebration and good and music food all around!

Sara & Eric’s Engagement Sneak Peeks

Sara & Eric and I met on a very hot, humid and sultry Sunday morning to take some engagement photos. We started at the Jefferson and worked our way over to the walk around the tidal basin. We had a nice time, and after that I came home and jumped right in the pool! I couldn’t believe Sara and Eric made it through the entire shoot looking fresh and clean with how hot it was!

Kristen & Scott were a joy to work with! They came prepared with a couple outfits- both pretty patriotic and, since they’re getting married all the way out in Californian Vineyard near where they are both from, they wanted to capture some shots of their awesome engaged selves all around the Capitol building in DC where they live now. We had a great time on what was a spectacular sultry spring day with some neat hazy sunshine. In honor of their wedding being at the vineyard, they actually brought wine glasses and grape juice in lieu of wine….just in case some park police stopped to ask what exactly was being sipped…to have a posed picnic on the Capitol lawn. Needless to say, it was a fun time! Enjoy!

Steve & Lindsey’s Engagement Session

Ok this was the best engagement session I think I’ve done so far. I LOVE the results, we were in beautiful South Carolina and I had a fabulous fun time with the couple- because it’s my brother and future sister in law- but still, it was awesome and I think the photos really show the fun we had. We had 3 different locations- downtown Charleston, the marsh area on Isle of Palms, and the Wild Dunes beach resort and golf club…fabulous!! Have a look and tell me what you think!

A Holiday Engagment

This awesome, and I mean awesome, couple found me online and we’ve been a great fit from the start! They wanted to have some fun photos taken of them in the awesome holiday setting in Reston, VA. We walked around the wintery setting in the chilly evening, got some cocktails and even went ice skating. Not only was this a fun setting for photos, but Lindsay and Trevor were pretty amazing to work with as well! Enjoy!

A Good Old Fashioned Engagement

These two came with a great sense of style and some wonderful ideas in mind. We walked around Georgetown on what turned out to be an absolutely stunning day and had a great ole time taking some very fun photos. The two were so happily in love that it wasn’t hard to get a bunch of fun candids have a look and tell me what ya think!

Rachel & Chris were quite a pleasure to work with and we had a great evening with just enough light to have a wonderful shoot! The clouds were really interesting and we also came across a cool brick alley so I tried to incorporate those aspects into the shoot enjoy!
