What a wedding it was! Sally & Alex hired me, a fellow Colorado College alum to come and photograph their wedding out in Colorado on and around the campus. We had a blast! After taking some getting ready photos, we jumped in the CC van and headed over to the Garden of the Gods for some fabulous fun and photo taking. Not long after we headed to CC for the ceremony which took place right outside of Shove Chapel and the reception which took place over in Bemis. It was a perfect day for this western wedding filled with heaps of fun, laughter and crazy dancing. Enjoy!

Mia and Christopher were a pleasure to work with and were just as excited to have their photos taken as I was to take them! After getting hair and make up done we took a few photos before rushing over to the lovely ceremony given by Mia’s father. As the sun sank behind the trees and the couple said their vows, their friends and family applauded the joyous occasion. We then took a bunch more photos and finally made our way to the dance floor for some fun, music and delicious food. Enjoy!

With a little help from some coffee and the great make up and hair artists they had they it wasn’t too hard for Tami & Maria to hop into wedding mode early Sunday morning over in Alexandria. After a bit of preparation, we all jumped in the bus and were carted downtown to the National Press Club, just a few blocks away from the white house. There the girls slipped into their dresses, signed the ketubah and the ceremony commenced with truly fabulous vows in a room filled with love and great friendship. Shortly after the ceremony, we took some fun photos before the jazz buffet brunch began. Needless to say it was a lovely morning filled with happiness, celebration and good and music food all around!

Sunny, perfectly warm and not too humid. I worked with the fabulous wedding planner Vicky Choy who did a great job creating beautiful details and a lovely wedding to remember for Jessica and Bill. They had an intimate tea ceremony with their close family members followed by a lovely ceremony and a reception with lots of little personal touches thrown in here and there (like a toast field games, and a fun photo booth!). The dancing was pretty much off the hook and the evening closed out with everyone making s’mores around a camp fire. Enjoy!

The weekend was absolutely perfect…other than being amazingly hot and wildly humid, we really couldn’t have asked for anything better! The guests gathered outside on an intimate lawn at the Wild Dunes Resort for the ceremony in the early evening to watch Rachel & Brian say their vows and seal them with a kiss. Shortly after I grabbed the wedding party and we walked out to the beach for a gorgeous sunset and some fun group photos. Everyone was happy to get into the cool reception ballroom after and had their dancing shoes on for a fun celebratory evening. My favorite quote from the day was when Brian, who has been known to dance with a plethora of ladies at weddings past, was asked if he was going to that night and he replied with “Nope! I’ve found the girl I want to dance with the rest of my life!” Disney couldn’t even write that! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Set at a beautiful country club in Gainsville VA, we had a wonderful day with a huge gathering of family and friends. There was a reported heat index of 105ºF so it wasn’t an easy day for anyone to take pictures outside! But we managed to snap a bunch of group shots after the ceremony outside and then inside in the lovely country club setting. Congrats to these two, it was truly a pleasure to work with them and their awesome family and friends!

They had intimate setting at Tracey & Cliff’s home with close family and friends gathering to celebrate their big day. Not long after the ceremony, everyone changed into their shorts and t-shirts to bear the heat! Tons of fun was had! Tracey, the bride, resembled Rossano Brazzi from the 1958 film South Pacific, she and Cliff were such a great couple to work with, easy going, friendly and so so so happy to have found each other! Congratulations!
