Cherry Blossom Time!

So every spring since I moved to DC (almost 3 years ago) I head down to check out the gorgeous cherry blossoms in bloom that surround the Tidal Basin down by the Jefferson Monument and the National Mall. This particular day they were absolutely gorgeous! They look like trees of cotton balls and snow. If you can handle the massive crowds, I recommend a trip here in the spring. They are truly a gorgeous sight to see!

Another great place to check out when you get a chance is the old Post Office- you can actually head up to the top of their bell tower and look around. It’s almost like getting to the top of the monument or the National Cathedral…just a different view. So below are some photos of that as well! And of course a few of my great friends who were in town visiting 😉
