Erika & David hired me to photograph their engagement session last fall and not only did we have a blast, they then hired me to photograph their beautiful wedding which I was so excited about! It was the 4th of June and the weather was lovely. We began the afternoon with some portraits and wedding prep shots and then moved on to the full Lutheran mass for their ceremony. They had a scrumptious coffee hour with cupcakes and other tasty treats while we took some more formals up in the church. Soon after, we all commuted over to the Lorien Hotel & Spa in Old Town for the cocktail hour and reception. The cocktail hour was spent in their library that they decorated with old photos of other relative’s weddings- a lovely and subtle touch I must say. Later the guests moved in to the small ballroom for the reception, picking up their cute and unique table cards. The Bride and Groom had searched through all their old photos to create individual table cards with a photo of at least one of them and the individual who’s card it was- definitely a great personal touch! Everyone enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal and some lovely toasts. It was a calm and joyful evening. Enjoy these teasers!!
