This was the perfect wedding to end my year of weddings in 2013! Wow! An incredibly beautiful couple both inside and out surrounded by amazing friends and family in a gorgeous pastoral setting! The only thing missing was sunshine! It was such a wonderful time, my assistants and I weren’t ready to leave when the night came to a close. After a visit by Christophe for hair & Kate Broadhurst for makeup, Leila dressed along side her bridesmaids at her family’s beautiful farm house. With her Jimmy Choo wedges and stunning custom fit Vera Wang lace gown, Leila was a gorgeous site to be seen! All the while, her handsome husband to be, Jeff, and his groomsman spiffed up and put on their tuxes in the nearby cottage. Once everyone was ready, their close circle of family and friends gathered in the main foyer of the house to have a sweet intimate ceremony before their main religious ceremony at the Trinity Church.
The day continued with photos, a ride in the old Bentley, and a cocktail hour in the wonderfully decorated tent on their farm. This was quickly followed by an epic reception with tons of delicious food, heartfelt toasts, great music, and awesome dance moves- most notable were the couple’s first dance which was a reenactment of the Dirty Dancing’s final dance scene to “The Time of My Life” and Jeff and his father leading the crowd in a sassy rendition of “Hang on Sloopy”. All in all, it was truly a spectacular day and I am so honored I was able to photograph this special occasion for such a wonderful couple! I hope you enjoy these images as much as my assistants and I enjoyed taking them!!
