Toddler Twins

I got to photograph this duo last year when they were only 5 months old. Our biggest challenge back then was to get them to both smile at the same time, since they weren’t crawling or walking around. And we got some money shots especially thanks to mom and dad, a spectacular and beautiful couple who is both very engaging with the kids and really fun to work with.  This time around, we had two little jet setters ready to explore the world  so it worked to photograph them more on an individual basis….as trying to get them to sit together and look at the camera at the same time was near impossible. At the toddler age though, as most parents know, this is typical. And my motto is that photos should represent people at their different stages of life, because when was the last time you can remember that you were so excited to walk that you just couldn’t stay seated?! So I just snapped away grabbing every moment I could and I think we got some great shots of them exploring and having fun. Here are some favorites from the morning:)By the way, we shot these at the Bishops Garden by the National Cathedral, a great spot for photos in the DC area.
